On Sunday, October 13 from 4-7 pm at The Chef’s Table, six Milwaukee chefs will battle it out for local culinary students! Samantha Starr Events invites the community to sample local flavors and support culinary education in Milwaukee Public Schools at the Fourth Annual Battle of the Chefs.
A portion of ticket sales, and 100% of the silent auction proceeds will benefit the Milwaukee Public Schools Foundation fund for culinary arts programming. MPS high school students will be back in the kitchen again this year to assist with prep and plating during the event. This will be an opportunity for students to get real-world experience and connect with mentors in the industry.
Judges will determine a winner for each round, and a crowd favorite will also be awarded. MPS Foundation Executive Director Wendell Willis will be one of this year’s judges, along with City of Milwaukee Judge Derek Mosley and Chef Caitlin Cullen of The Tandem.
